This scenario assumes that you have an RTC project area already created and you had already imported the available Work Item templates. You'll play two main roles: Project Manager and Configuration Lead. The scenario will emphasis how, when and where you will use the process guidance (website) and the enactment support (Work Item templates).

There are two primary drivers for following this usage pattern: governance and live, in-context process advice. The governance principle of "say what you do, do what you say" is realized by mapping the main activities, described in the process guidance, into Work Item templates. By creating work items based on these templates, you automatically follow the prescribed process. The in-context process advice helps you with detailed instructions (generic and/or tool specific) on how to perform the associated tasks.
